MAKERDECK

MakerDeck was designed as a kit that exposes students in low-income schools, who may not have access to traditional makerspaces, to making. The kit is designed to serve a 2-fold approach that helps educators and students experience making through semi-guided activities and within certain parameters. Ultimately, it is an open-ended kit that includes cards with prompts, low-cost materials, an instruction guide, and additional supports to keep making exciting, fun, and practical!

Mobile App Prototype

While initially designed as a physical kit that can be printed and kept in classrooms and homes, I wanted to also design this experience as a mobile app.

What if you don't have a printer, but you do have a phone?

With a mobile app, you could still experience what MakerDeck has to offer!

This way, MakerDeck could be made even more accessible.

Wireframe mockups were designed using Adobe XD and Adobe Illustrator.
